About Shirelle Chimenti

Shirelle Hebert Chimenti was born and raised in the suburbs of New Orleans, LA. She is a former Miss Louisiana, USA and was 3rd runner in the 1994 Miss USA pageant. She attended Louisiana State University for three and a half years before transferring to the University of Colorado, Denver where she studied Biology and received her Bachelor of Science degree with honors. She moved to The Woodlands in 1999 and continues to live here with her husband of 22 years, Dr. Brian Thomas Chimenti and their two beautiful children Mason Thomas (age 17) and Ashlyn Grace (age 14).

In addition to being on the Interfaith of the Woodland’s Celebration of Excellence Gala committee, Shirelle co-founded and co-chaired DOCS, Doctors Outreach for Community Service, which raised funds for the Montgomery County Community Clinic. She has also Co-Chaired the Montgomery County Go Red for Women Luncheon, Tea on the Lawn benefitting New Danville, Annual Fund for The John Cooper School, and Open Your Purse for Change benefitting the Montgomery County Woman’s Center. Over the years, Shirelle has hosted numerous fundraisers and benefits at her home for all of these organizations including an annual event benefitting HOPE, The Will Herndon Fund. She currently sits on The John Cooper School’s Booster Club Board and has done so for the last four years.

In her free time, Shirelle loves to travel, laugh and drink wine with her incredible friends, and love on her amazing family.
